Welcome to another edition of Music In My Earholes, where I share music I’ve been loving.

The hope is that these artists will inspire you to create more music.

Júníus Meyvant

I found this Icelandic singer-songwriter through Spotify’s recommended music, and I’m hooked. It’s like part 70s cop show theme music and part love crooner.

Júníus Meyvant is his stage name, his given name is Unnar Gísli Sigurmundsson.

Masego

Masego is a singer-songwriter who makes trap house jazz, as his website says.

I think I heard of Masego from a Facebook ad, weirdly enough. The above video was my first impression (he’s the drummer/singer).

Gary Clark Jr.

The man who’s helping bring back blues-rock in an honest way. Think Hendrix, The Black Keys, and B.B. King.

In other words, awesome.

Fionn Regan

Fionn Regan is a finger-picking singer-songwriter from the U.K. who uses clever lyrics that make you think.

I think his music has really influenced my own.

S. Carey

This guy makes chill yet super emotional acoustic-ambient music. I can imagine music supervisors and licensing agents would be drooling over his tunes.

Right now, you can get a free 30-day trial of Amazon Music, where you can hear all of these artists (I just signed up). It’s $9.99 per month after that.

Just throwing that out there in case you’re an Amazon fan and wanted to do your music-listening through them.
