A painter once told me to stay in school. With a laugh, he said this as he changed the color of the walls of my university from an off-white to a whiter white.
Well, I took his advice and stayed in school. I got a degree. And I started my career where I sit all day and take care of people’s problems.
Getting a degree helped me avoid the rough careers, the careers that wear on the body and lungs.
Is that all a degree does anymore?
I don’t know. But at least I’m not painting walls.
